Finance Business Partner in Dukinfield

Forge Talent are excited to be working with a fast-paced 75 million turnover business looking for a Finance Business Partner. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting for multiple business units across the north. Partnering with the site GM and Regional Operations Director to monitor performance and drive efficiency.

Salary & Benefits:

• £50,000 package
• 25 days plus bank holidays
• Option buy up to 5 day holiday

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of operational & financial KPI's.
• Continually improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial information to key stakeholders
• Prepare forecast/budgets and present with full explanation to GMF and Ops Director
• Ownership of the unit balance sheet and production of high-quality reconciliations
• Coordinate the closure of the operational month-end accounts
• Provide a full understanding of any deviations from flash /budget and any future impacts of current deviations
• Ensure all internal/external weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports are complete
• Continually challenge the financial results with unit managers
• Support the identification of operational efficiency opportunities, assist with cost control and cost reduction projects
• Assist in commercial reviews, providing financial evaluation and support
• Challenge and report the effects of any disruption to the business immediately to aid fast decision-making to reduce EBITDA effect
• Assist in Capex budgeting, forecasting and preparation
• Assist in business case development and approvals, post-investment appraisals

Experience & Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant.
• Minimum 1+ years Finance Management experience
• Strong management accounting and analytical skills are essential
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to manipulate complex data, generating actionable insight
• A proven record of supporting business improvement
• Be commercially astute, with a proven record of driving financial performance with key stakeholders
• Have a track record of supporting the delivery of profit improvement plans
• Experience in finance support for unit projects
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with SAP & Power BI
• A proactive approach and a collaborative attitude
• Ability to build business relationships and interact with internal customers, with the ability to solve problems
