Finance Assistant Needed for a Temporary Position in Education!
Are you a skilled Finance Assistant who is confident with IT systems, particularly MS Excel? Our client, an organisation in the education sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their team for a temporary contract of 2 months! As a Finance Assistant, you will play an integral role in the smooth operation of their finance department, working closely with the Head of Finance. This is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to a vital sector.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable: Process and approve invoices, handle supplier payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Import bank statements, post transactions, and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Payroll: Process timesheets, enter variance report, and check draught payroll.
- Nursery Education Funding: Enter pupil details on the local authority system and ensure claim forms are signed.
- Disbursements: Enter disbursements on school bills.
- Sports Centre Legacy Payment Backlog: Manage and clear outstanding payments.
