Finance Assistant in London

IN2Consult are working with a very large hospitality company who are on the lookout for a finance assistant to join the team. This role will breach transactional finance, management accounting & commercial finance so is a great opportunity for you to learn new skills & develop your career. We need someone who is part qualified, has an excellent level of communication & a good ability to work off their own back. The role is based out of the clients Bloomsbury office but there is occasional travel required to other London based sites. Please see below the responsibilities & beneficial skills -

Responsibilities -

• Ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy & integrity.
• Maintain and monitor cost trackers.
• Produce regular reporting on business performance.
• Enter sales and purchase information into the relevant bookwork system.
• Accurate accounting on income, including accrued and deferred revenue on a monthly basis, with clear visibility and communication to the business on non-current debt.
• Highlighting and minimising key business risks, by understanding balance sheet position.
• Support the operations team to drive performance across the contract portfolio.
• Work in collaboration and build strong productive working relationships with the internal & external stakeholders.
• Ad-ho analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests.

Beneficial Skills -

• Good level of MS Excel. 
• Part qualified.
• Strong desire to learn.
