Robert Half Finance & Accounting are delighted to be supporting a highly reputable client in recruiting a Finance Assistant to join. This is an excellent role for someone who is early on in their Finance & Accounting career looking to learn and develop. For the right person, the client is offering:

Up to £28,000 plus excellent benefits

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts for various companies
  • Reconciliation of inter-company payments as well as sales ledger
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations in support of the month end process
  • Oversee sales ledger, including preparing invoices for monthly reporting process, as well as customer reports
  • Prepare all payments and act as first point of contact for all payment queries
  • Other ad hoc tasks and duties as required by the finance manager
  • Person specification:

  • Some experience in a similar role, ideally some invoicing
  • Ideally working towards AAT qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Good time management and organisation, able to work effectively to deadlines
