Environmental Manager ( Street Cleansing PM Shift )

Salary: Competitive with an annual performance bonus plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 13:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Location: Marsh Road, Wembley, HA0 1ES

What you'll be doing;

• Develop and maintain relationships with the local authorities and residents.
  
• Implement Health and Safety to ensure the safety of the site operatives and the general public.
  
• Monitor and manage the site budget to meet contract objectives.
  
• Ensure productivity and cost control are maximised to the best of your ability.
  
• Control vehicle usage and costs.
  
• Ensure staff are engaged and motivated to perform efficiently.
  
• Undertake disciplinary hearings and grievances for employees.
  
• Support other Environment Managers to develop business continuity plans.
  
• Undertake any other duties directed by your line manager.
  
• Responsible for Collections PM service.
  

What we're looking for;

• Previous experience in a similar role.
  
• Knowledge of Transport rules and regulations.
  
• A proven background in the management, motivation and coaching of a large workforce.
  
• Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with exceptional interpersonal ability.
  
• An understanding of cost control.
  
• Driving Licence
