EMIS ReceptionistMy client are seeking an EMIS trained Doctors Receptionist to join them on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have an NHS Smartcard and be trained to use EMIS software.
Main duties of the job * Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients any other visitors to the practice * Have a high degree of empathy, diplomacy and integrity and be able to demonstrate sensitivity and an awareness of patients needs * Be reliable, professional and adaptable to excel in an ever-changing environment * Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments * Handing completed repeat prescriptions to patient and checking names and address.
* Process appointment requests from patients by telephone and in person.
* Receive and make telephone calls as required.
Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate deliveryHours of work:Core practice hours are 08:00 – 18:30 Monday to Friday.

8:00am - 4:30pm / 10:00am - 6:30pm)However you should be able to cover their evening shift when required, this could be from 18:30 – 20:00 – shifts will be provided in advance.
