Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the growth of our wireless team in the United Kingdom. The Electrical Engineer will provide expert advice, recommendations, and final design specifications for engineering solutions for telecommunication base stations. Responsibilities include detailed electrical specifications, single-line diagrams, and earthing design/specifications. The role also ensures that all electrical designs meet project/client objectives and comply with all relevant UK standards and specific regional electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed electrical specifications, single-line diagrams, and earthing design/specifications for telecommunication base stations.
• Ensure all electrical designs meet project/client objectives and comply with UK standards and regional electrical regulations.
• Manage and coordinate telecommunications installation and commissioning services.
• Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and internal customers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Scope and manage mobile site upgrades, including antenna systems and microwave radio.
• Develop project management plans, schedules, and implement telecommunications deployment projects.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating telecommunications installation and commissioning services.
• Recent work experience within the UK telecommunications industry, preferably wireless projects for one of the major carriers.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing and coordinating telecommunications installation and commissioning services.
• Experience in team building, coaching, and conflict management.
