Are you a creative and compassionate Dramatherapist looking to make a real difference?
We have a unique opportunity for a Dramatherapist who prides themselves on delivering high quality person centred care, to join our Arts Team.
To our knowledge, this is the first post of its kind in hospice care across Scotland.
Working as part of the Arts team and the wider multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will provide dramatherapy sessions and related projects to people accessing palliative care, their families and carers as well as to members of the local community.
The successful candidate will work within an established hospice arts provision with an international reputation.
Our arts service is firmly embedded within our work as a University Hospice promoting the development of arts therapies practice, education and research.
You’ll be educated to Master’s level in Dramatherapy and possess an in-depth knowledge of dramatherapy practice in relation to illness, loss, change and bereavement.
You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, be highly organised and be able to effectively manage your own caseload, working to service limits and offering sessions for individuals and groups.
