    Digital Creative Lead

    Our Award-winning Advertising Agency has an opening for a Head of Digital Creative

    This is a key senior role within an ambitious and friendly award-winning agency. You will be a highly organised, motivated, and self-directed Head of Digital Creative, who will oversee the creation of all digital/social assets and shape the agency’s digital creative strategy proactively.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Digital Strategy: Develop and communicate a comprehensive digital creative strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and target audience. Innovative and strategic thinker with a growth mindset.

    • Digital Leadership: Monitor emerging digital and social trends, customers’ needs, industry practices and developments, technology / tools and the competitive landscape to create insightful approaches and adjust the digital and social approach accordingly.

    • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire digital creative teams, including designers, writers, web developers, and other professionals.

    • Expert understanding of the creative process: social channels, digital display, branding, video, photography, animation, motion graphics, UX copywriting, and digital art direction. Strong visual and conceptual digital design capabilities.

    • Concept Development: Generate innovative digital concepts and ideas for digital advertising, social media, websites, apps, and other digital platforms.

    • Demonstrate and foster a love of creative innovation and have a keen design and typographical eye. • Oversight of Content Creation: Ensure that digital content, including graphics, videos, and copy, is engaging and on-brand.

    • User Experience (UX) Design: Oversee preferred partners in the creation of user-friendly and visually appealing digital interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.

    • Project Oversight: Manage the entire digital creative process, from concept to execution, to ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.

    • Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with other internal teams on shaping the strategic digital creative direction for the agency across all channels to achieve unity in messaging • Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their digital goals and expectations, presenting creative concepts and solutions.

    • Quality Control: Maintain high creative standards for all digital output, conducting thorough reviews and revisions as necessary. Be an active member of the Quality Ways of Working groups. Liaise with the industry bodies for advice and information.

    • Budget Management: Manage digital creative budgets, allocating resources effectively and tracking costs.

    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analytics to inform creative strategies, making adjustments based on user behaviour and performance metrics.

    • Technology Trends: Stay updated on emerging technology trends and social/digital best practices to inform and enhance digital creative strategies.

    • Supplier Management: Contribute to the management and relationship building with suppliers/partners ensuring they deliver a top quality product for the agency & client and input into evaluations.

    • New Business: Support on new business pitches and presentations. Head of Digital

    Essential Criteria

  • A bachelor's degree in digital design, digital marketing, graphic design, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in digital creative leadership is desirable.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in digital creative roles, with a proven track record of successful digital projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally in an agency setting
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership and team management abilities to inspire and guide digital creative professionals.
  • Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing, user experience (UX) design, and emerging digital technologies. SOFTWARE:
  • Creative Software: Proficiency in creative software including a detailed knowledge of Adobe CC applications for reviewing and directing digital design work.
  • Web Design and Development Tools: Understanding of web design and development tools and languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software or tools for overseeing digital creative projects.
  • Data Analytics Tools: Utilisation of analytics tools such as Google Analytics for data-driven decision making.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla for managing digital content.
