DevOps Engineer in UK

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer , you’ll be pivotal in developing and maintaining our applications infrastructure, supporting the creation of bespoke applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing build and deployment processes.
• Managing Azure resources.
• Maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring systems security.
• Collaborating on system integrations.

• Solid understanding of application infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical: Maintain code within Git, handle system issues, monitor and improve infrastructure, and support agile development with regular deployments.
• Team & Processes: Collaborate with teams, review and document technical processes, monitor KPIs, and analyse incidents.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up with new technologies, implement best practices, and champion process improvements.

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Agile principles & methodologies.
• Azure DevOps Pipelines & Administration.
• GitHub Actions & Administration.
• Azure infrastructure management.
• Security frameworks like OWASP.
• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub actions.

Desirable Skills

• Commercial developer experience.
• Unit Testing Frameworks.
• SQL Server infrastructure.
• Power Platform Infrastructure.
