We arelooking for a committed/ experienced residential care professionalfor our Specialist Therapeutic Intervention Service in Gosforth. Wework with children between the ages of 5 and 11 on admission to beable to address their earlytrauma.


As aDeputy Manager Children s Home youwill be part of a team providing one to one care. You will deputisefor the Registered Manager in their absence in matters relating tothe day to day running of the home. You will be responsible for thephysical social and emotional wellbeing of the children and willneed to support and sometimes participate in the children s dailyroutines including therapy education and family time. You will beworking with a team and a manager to ensure the children in yourcare have all their needs met ensuring all safeguardingresponsibilities are at the forefront. You will support the Managerin supervising staff and developing staff to ensure that we aremeeting all areas of our statement of purpose. You will need tohave an understanding of the Quality Standards which set out in thechildren s homes regulations the outcomes that children must besupported to achieve while living in children s homes.
