Damp & Mould Surveyor in Bristol

Our client, based in Bristol, is currently recruiting for a Damp & Mould / Responsive Repairs Surveyor on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rate is £30 per survey , attending pre-booked appointments made by the council and residents.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with damp & mould and responsive repairs. They will have worked with schedule of works and hold a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting between 7-9 property inspections a day, surveying the damp & mould or responsive repair claims from Bristol City Council residents
• Attending pre-arranged appointments to complete the inspections
• Taking photos, finding defects and reporting any HHSRS hazards during the inspections for works to be raised
• Commenting on any remedial work that needs doing and liaising with residents on works that will be carried out
• Ensuring any urgent repairs/works are prioritised following initial inspection

Experience required:

• Damp & mould
• Schedule of rates

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• HHSRS
• Understanding of property defects and property life cycle in order to prioritise works when urgent

Working hours:

• Mon – Fri
• Between 9am – 5pm
• Complete 7-9 inspections per day
