Customs Executive in Leeds

The Customs Executive will work as part of the Central Customs Team to facilitate customs entries, deal with customs queries and complete reclaims. Working to ensure entries are prioritised and completed against agreed SLAs, your key responsibilities will be:

• Processing Import Customs Entries (Home Use, SFD,IPR,OPR, C21 and bonded)
• Calculating VAT / Duty, invoicing out
• Dealing with genera and technical issues related to the customs clearance process and any additional documentation/licencing requirements.
• Supporting/Advising on product classification
• Processing post entry amendments

Key Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior CDS Customs experience, ideally with BIFA type customs certification.
• Good understand of customs regulations and procedures including international trade.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• A methodical and organised approach to task management.
• Excellent communication skills.

Our Working Environment

We offer a hybrid working environment, requiring approximately 3 days a week in one of our UK offices for collaboration and team meetings.
