Role: Customer Service Training Team Supervisor

Description:

We are looking for a passionate and committed Team Training Supervisor to join one of our largest financial services clients in their Customer Service Department.

The role will suit someone who is ambitious and willing to embrace new challenges and love learning in a fast pace and challenging environment.

You will be facilitating the training of the new members of staff who will be coming into the borrowing department.

New members of staff go through a 3-week initial classroom-based training before heading onto the department floor where they go into live calls assisted training.

It would be your job to facilitate this and take them through the company induction, curriculum/modules and learn the best practices for great customer service.

The Customer Service Representatives will be taking only inbound calls regarding queries on borrowing products such as loans and overdrafts etc.

Additionally, helping with the upskilling of current employees when required.

Due to the nature of the department, there will also be a requirement to take new starts through customers experience financial difficulty and speaking to difficult customers.

Skills

• Experience running/training a team.

Team size can range from 3-8.

• Experience training in a contact/call centre environment.

• Experience in a financial services environment would be optimal but not required.

• Experience leading, motivating, praising, and encouraging colleagues through open and honest communication.

• Good presentation and communication skills (Experience running sessions/ hosting presentation)

• Experience working within a dynamic , fast paced environment is preferable.

• Based in North Shields, Silverlink.

You will be required to be in the office full time.

(Cobalt Business Park)

• Call centre is Open 7 days a week, however this role is 9-5 Monday-Friday

• 37 ½ hour week

• Bank holidays/public holidays off.

• Position is paid on an hourly basis

• 2 roles- one at a more senior level, one slightly more junior

Please note this position is 6 months initial contract, with a high likelihood of turning permanent after the initial term.
