Corporate Finance Analyst in Leeds

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Financial Analyst to join a fast moving services business based in Leeds City Centre, the team are going from strength to strength and are now looking to add to the team.

This role would be perfect for a numerically minded person with good analysis skills, finance experience would be preferable.

Reporting into the FP&A Manager, key duties of the Financial Analyst will include:

Support the FP&A Manager with the delivery of robust 24 month forecasting, which is embedded within the business.

• Influence forecast decisions and business partnering on risks, opportunities, and mitigations.
• Develop and maintain reports and tools to support KPIs and financial reporting.
• Responsible for the month end support to the Management Accounts team regarding and overhead accruals, advising on the posting of journals where required.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly Commercial Performance report including commentary on performance.
• Perform all relevant regular system checks to ensure the integrity of the numbers.
• Provide insightful financial information and analysis of performance to the budget holders and the wider business where applicable.
• Support Operational teams to ensure they have robust finance justifications in place to support expenditure and improvement initiatives.
• Ad hoc support for business cases which have a commercial opportunity, advising the business on potential outcomes.
• Modelling scenarios to support leadership decision making.
• Providing insight on the impact of price increases and advising on changes to customer behaviour. * Assisting the FP&A Manager with information and insight to inform price increase recommendations

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:

Previous experience of working within a finance function

Strong excel skills

Previous experience in analysis

Confident communicator

£35,000 - £40,000
