Role Summary

FatFace has an exciting opportunity for a Content Marketing Writer to join our Marketing Department on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Responsibilities

• Working with the Content Marketing Manager to deliver engaging and personality-filled copy and campaign messaging that reflects the FatFace brand values across all channels (email, web, in-store).
• Content creation (and delivery) for all marketing channels including marketing emails, product descriptions, web copy (including blog pages and fit guides) and point of sale ensuring channel alignment and engaging brand and commercial storytelling.
• Understanding the FatFace customer and ensuring the tone of voice and brand messaging is engaging, informative and inspiring across all customer touchpoints.
• Working and contributing to the marketing plan on seasonal projects and customer moments
• Responding to weekly data and trade reporting and applying to your content planning
• Working with merchandising, buying and design teams to understand key product messages and ensure stories are captured and translated in an effective way for content creation.
• Working with the Ecommerce team with website messaging, seasonal SEO objectives and trade requirements through effective content and user journeys.
• Working with the Creative and Studio teams on design and photography briefs for emails, in-store POS and website assets.
• Working with the Social team on channel alignment with seasonal messaging and product storytelling.
• Support FatFace’s social and environmental mission and champion any actions that you can directly impact at all times.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a content or copywriting role – minimum of 3 years.
• Previous content marketing experience – minimum of 3 years.
• A background in fashion or retail will be advantageous

Role Competencies

• Strong copywriting skills across marketing channels – understanding the needs and requirements of the different channels.
• Skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy to appeal to various target markets.
• An ability to create and execute content that engages customers.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and prioritise workload, with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially minded and experienced in digital content creation.
• Creative, with a strong passion for the brand.
• Strong team player, able to work cross-functionally & build internal & external relationships.
• Able to work under pressure and to deadline – no day is the same at FatFace and candidates need to be ready to react and respond under pressure.
• Able to work on own initiative – this is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days in the office in Havant so candidates need to be driving their deadlines and projects independently.
