Job Summary

At Travel Counsellors, we communicate The TC Way - with care at the heart of everything we do. As a Communications Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring our internal and external communications are personal and impactful.

You will support the development and implementation of communication strategies that enhance engagement and nurture our community and positive company culture.

Reporting Structure and Collaboration
  • The Communications Executive reports directly to the Communications Manager, working closely with the Director of Communications.
  • You will provide critical support to the wider team, including PR and the in-house studio.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Culture and Engagement Initiatives: Assist in developing and implementing strategies that promote a positive workplace culture and high levels of engagement, aligning with Travel Counsellors' One Team ethos and values
  • Multi-channel Communication Execution: Contribute to creating and distributing content across various channels under the guidance of senior team members
  • Collaborative Project Management: Work collaboratively with the People and Engagement Director to support the Community Engagement Strategy and take part in specific initiatives
  • Internal Broadcast Support: Support internal TV broadcasts with content segments, ensuring they are engaging and reflective of company updates
  • External Communications and PR Support: Work collaboratively, when needed, with the PR Team to assist with external communications, including press releases, award entries and reporting
  • Engagement Analytics and Feedback: Assist in gathering and analysing engagement metrics, providing insights and suggesting improvements
  • Departmental Communication Support: Help departments craft and disseminate messages using creative tactics
  • Administrative Support and Flexibility: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Communications & PR team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude in supporting various projects and initiatives
