Job Description

At Fixter we’re doing things differently. We want to turn the car maintenance industry on its head and we can’t do that by following the status quo. To help us deliver on our vision, we are looking for a rockstar Commercial Manager to help us build out a world class commercial function.

Reporting into our Head of Operations, in this role you will manage our Sales teams (~6 FTEs) and will aim to implement new strategies, playbooks and processes that will maximise revenue, all whilst optimising customer experience. You will also have the opportunity to build our new B2B sales function from the ground up, in partnership with senior leaders within the business!

What you’ll be doing:

You will work closely with our Head of Operations, Tom Williams, to deliver a wide range of impactful work, including:

  • Launching and scaling a winning B2B proposition: We are ready to take on the B2B space and in this role you will be leading the charge! Everything from shaping the proposition itself, through to creating and implementing a GTM strategy and helping to pitch and close new accounts.

  • Building world class Sales teams: We have two Sales teams at Fixter. As their leader, you will have a central role in defining their strategy going forwards to ensure that we are hitting our revenue targets, whilst also delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Spot new opportunities to generate revenue: You will always be on the lookout for new opportunities to generate revenue, that could mean finding new distribution partners, optimising our upsell approach, or other strategies that could add value!

Qualifications

Are you an ambitious, data-driven professional with a strong commercial background? If so, you may be just the person we’re looking for! We think the right candidate will tick most of the following boxes:

  • At least a 2:1 degree from a top university.

  • 3+ years of experience, including work in consulting, a strategy/operations/commercial role at a startup, an in-house strategy function, or similar.

  • Some experience with people management in the past - preferably line management, but could also be leading projects or similar.

  • Comfortable creating and delivering compelling, data-driven arguments that can win over senior stakeholders, in a business development context or otherwise.

  • Bias for action and delivery obsessed - we aren’t all about strategic thinking, we’re looking  for someone with a track record of getting stuff done!

  • Experienced user of Excel/Google Sheets and ideally some experience with SQL and data visualisation tools.

 

What we can offer:

  • Up to £60,000 p/a salary (depending on experience)

  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
