£35,000 - £45,000

**Position Overview:**

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all technological solutions and strategies at Britannia Rose.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business acumen and technical expertise, with a proven track record of leading technology teams and driving digital innovation.

The CTO will work closely with the executive team to align technology goals with the company’s strategic vision and operational objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy to support business goals and objectives.

- Lead and manage the IT department, including software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience.

- Identify and implement new technologies that can enhance product offerings, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.

- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.

- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that improve overall business performance.

- Manage the technology budget and ensure cost-effective technology solutions.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

- Drive continuous improvement in software development practices, including agile methodologies.

- Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a CTO or similar position.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, web development, and digital marketing technologies.

- Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise software solutions.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and other stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to manage technology budgets and achieve cost efficiencies.

- Knowledge of the home decor industry is a plus.
