About the role

Salary : £25k + bonus based on team performance.

Hours: 8.

30-5pm hybrid working 3 days in the office.

This role calls for a resourceful, confident, and willing individual adept at following administrative and compliance tasks such as right to work, DBS checks and data entry for our Permanent desk.

You will be supporting our Perms desk, which is primarily corporate roles in finance, marketing, personal assistants but also some general staffing roles.

Diligence in time management is crucial for this candidate, given the focus on changing demands and priorities.

You will always be aligned on what you need to do, but this candidate needs to be comfortable with flexible agenda changes.

Excellent communication skills are essential, by being confident answering questions, picking up the phone but more importantly being able to have the initiative to get on with workload and have incredible attention to detail.

You will be the backbone of this branch, so we want someone who is ready to elevate themselves, is excited to be relied on by the amazing team to deliver and single-handedly assist them in placing candidates and making our clients happy!

The Team

Our team at the Newbury branch is comprised of experienced and dedicated professionals.

Bethan, our branch manager, has been with us for 24 years, bringing extensive knowledge and leadership.

Gabrielle, also known as Elle, has served as our Temps desk for 3 years, while Lucinda has been our Perms consultant for 6 years.

Our Senior Candidate Consultant, Sophie, with over 12 years of experience, adds to the team's depth and expertise.

We are a dynamic and hard-working group, eager to welcome someone who is confident, energetic, and brings a fun and open personality to our team.

We seek an individual who is as committed as we are to helping build and grow the Newbury branch.

What you'll be doing

Your role is crucial to the recruitment process as you will be responsible for managing the delivery of compliance and administrative standards for the clients, whilst ensuring the candidate(s) receive the highest standard of customer service from Adecco.

 

We pride ourselves in delivering a memorable service to our candidates and clients, so being able to manage incoming requests and action on-going workloads is essential.

Some of your key areas of responsibility are listed below:

  • Candidate Qualification – conduct comprehensive registration interviews to vet candidates’ suitability to roles.
  • Compliance – conduct RTW (Right to Work) and reference checks , and ensuring candidates are compliant to the standards required. As well as managing the payroll inbox and process any payroll requests from our temps that are out at any given time.
  • Candidate Engagement – manage candidate talent pools to maintain ongoing communication with the best talent on the market.
  • Support Sales Consultants – conduct CV screenings, offer hot candidate profiles, and liaise with your Lead Consultant to deliver the best candidates. On top of this, you’ll assist them by feeding job leads through that you’ve identified following speaking with your candidates.
  • Sourcing Candidates – employ diverse sourcing methodologies including advertising, job board searches and executing headhunting strategies to identify and attract candidates for live roles.
  • Systems Management – Input all registered candidates into Sales Force, organising CV formats, interviewing notes and scheduling and organising call lists.
