Focused recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Buyer to join our clients manufacturing site in the Blackwood area.
The role will be vital in ensuring the project requirements are met through sourcing, negotiating and procuring materials that are critical to the innovative designs that are created/produced. You will also be managing the purchasing activities for prototype and production projects.
Hours of Work
The role is a Monday to Friday position working during core business hours.
Duties
Overview
To be successful in this position, you will be required to have at least 3 years of purchasing experience and have strong organisational, planning and time management skills. You will need to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst under frequent changing priorities. Previous experience of communications between key stakeholders, computer literacy skills and a valid UK driving license and passport are essential to complete the role comprehensively.
