Business Director in London

Due to recent growth across all of our Publicis Media agencies, we're looking for collaborative, brave & brilliant strategic minds to join us in the role of Business Director. Working closely with a combination of global planning, creative, data & digital brilliant brains across the business, it will be your responsibility to elevate & champion smartest & bravest ideas, take our clients growth planning vision to the next level & throw yourself into broader departmental initiatives. 

What will you be doing?

In this role, you'll lead strategic direction for your clients, supporting the Managing Partner in delivering against the Growth Plan.  You'll be a trusted advisor to key, senior clients and will therefore challenge them in the pursuit of better work.  You’ll lead a team of Planners at various levels from Account Executive to Account Director, and will play a key role in helping the team with their development and their planning capabilities.

In addition, you will:

• Deliver sustainable profitability and growth across clients with accurate forecasting
• Lead a team of between 6-12 people (depending on the size of the client), and drive a culture of proactivity, results and innovation across the team
• Instil processes that deliver operational excellence for agency and client

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a true UK craft planning media expert to help continue some big industry leading ambitions in 2023 and beyond.  You'll have strong influencing and people management skills.

You'll also have: 

• Experience spotting growth opportunities and assembling squads that will deliver these;
• A strong level of knowledge across all media channels, with a nose for communicating how to approach a media plan with clients. This planning/campaign knowledge would cover brand, performance and innovation;
• A great understanding of commercial importance, but not at the expense of client relationships
• Worked closely with key broadcast, publishing and digital partners.

You'll be confident in managing forecasting and profitability of teams and will help those teams grow and develop both personally and professionally.
