Business Development Executive - Events in Nottingham

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an established, market-leading events management business, as they look to add a Business Development Manager to their growing and fun-loving team.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a previous sales or business development role and will be confident in bringing their own ideas to the table. The prospect of attending regular events and driving new business will excite the ideal candidate for this role.

Alongside a starting salary of c£25,000, there is also a fantastic commission structure on offer, an excellent holiday allowance alongside other bonuses and the freedom to really make the role your own, with responsibility for business development strategy and the opportunity to become the face of the business.

Role & Responsibilities

• Attend business awards and events nationwide to promote brand awareness
• Attend client meetings to generate new business and build on existing client base
• Act on warm leads and perform market research to target prospective sales
• Proactively develop new business through effective emails and outbound calls
• Develop company business development strategy to drive sales growth

Skills & Experience

• Experience in previous business development position
• Confident self-starter
• Highly effective communicator with ability to communicate to various stakeholders
• Creative thinker who’s able to bring new ideas to the table
• Valid UK driving licence
