Aim of the role


The aim of the role is to support the actuarial reserving team as well as the finance team.

The candidate will work closely with the actuarial and finance teams to support various analytical tasks, including data collection, cleansing, and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Alteryx and Power BI, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.


The successful candidate will do this by:


  • Being the data manager and extracting, treating and cleansing data in order to have accurate and complete data for the reserving and finance process
  • Identifying and addressing data quality issues, including correcting data errors and capturing missing business information
  • Automating tasks in Alteryx or Power BI
  • Maintaining current Alteryx and Power BI models
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance data quality though process and model improvements
  • Validating and reconciling data across multiple systems and providing reports to actuaries and management
  • Ensuring the data tools provide appropriate, complete and accurate data
  • Working with IT so they are aware of changes to tools and databases that may impact corporate systems or databases
  • Providing data to different stakeholders (Reserving, Pricing, Capital, Finance)


In addition to the above key responsibilities, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require.


To do this, we’re going to need you to bring:


  • Experience in data analysis for Non-Life business
  • Experience with dealing with large amount of data
  • High proficiency in Alteryx and Power BI
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of individuals in a variety of functions (e.g. finance, claims, underwriting, actuarial, operations)
  • Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Good problem-solving abilities
