Are you a passionate and analytical problem solver with a knack for communication?


Hawes & Curtis, a leading e-commerce business, is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping initiatives that deliver real value to our

customers.


What you'll do:


Collaborate with the Head Office team to

transform ideas into tangible solutions.

Work closely with our E-commerce and development teams to understand

business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.

Act as a bridge between end-users, developers, and any third-party

vendors involved in the development lifecycle.

Identify trends, potential weaknesses, and opportunities to optimize

performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Document business workflows and processes, ensuring sign-off from stakeholders.

Model business structures, systems, and processes to reflect proposed changes.

Support the project manager in selecting and evaluating external suppliers.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to design and execute test plans.

Stay current on project requirements and effectively communicate

changes to stakeholders.

Foster strong working relationships and navigate any communication challenges.

Negotiate effectively to achieve consensus and maintain stakeholder buy-in.

Prepare status reports outlining progress, issues, risks, and

dependencies for the Project Manager.

Champion good governance practices, including regular reviews of

issues, risks, and dependencies.

Facilitate meetings with business, technology, and user groups to

gather information and requirements.

Contribute to the development of our Business Analysis Centre of

Excellence and Communities of Practice.


You're a great fit if you have:

Experience working as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced environment.

A solid understanding of the change delivery lifecycle.

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

A proven track record of translating business requests into actionable

requirements.

Experience in writing clear and concise requirements specifications.

Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business processes

(experience with BPMN is a plus).

The ability to present confidently in both formal and informal settings.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a focus on

active listening.

The ability to build rapport and navigate effectively at all levels of

the organization.

A demonstrable understanding of agile methodologies.
