IT Business Analyst - £40-45k + £6k car allowance – Skelmersdale

Synaxia Group are working with a long-standing relationship to the business, supporting their search for an additional IT Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst joins at a great time, ahead of a major IT & Business Systems transformation programme that is currently been scoped out. This should be going live in 2025 and will spin out stacks of IT & Change projects for a hungry Business Analyst to get stuck into.

Position: IT Business Analyst

Location: Skelmersdale (2 days a week in the office)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Additional Benefits: £6,000 car allowance

About the Role:

As an IT Business Analyst, This plays the classic role of bridging the gap between IT and the business, with an additional emphasis on assuring the wider business that change is not to be feared! You will work closely with stakeholders at levels, from the Board to entry-level, to gather requirements, map & re-design business processes and work with in-house and SI partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business cases, functional specifications, and process maps.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment between IT and business objectives.
• Work with development teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
• Support the implementation of new systems and processes, providing ongoing analysis and feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within a decent-sized organization (circa 500 employees upwards)
• Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
