Business Analyst in Reading

We are working with a global pharmaceutical company based in Berkshire who have an amazing company culture and an exciting product pipeline.

The company have grown recent;y and the role has become available due to growth within the team.

The role is a hybrid position based in their Berkshire office 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive market research projects to gather insights on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour within the UK & IE pharmaceutical markets.
• Liaise with the Global team to inform and shape research for the UK/IE
• Recommend solutions to the team for data gaps to assist with more effective strategic development and operational implementation.
• Set up and conduct benchmarking and continuous tracking for our brand and company messaging.
• Work with multiple data sets to enhance the UK/IE sales picture.
• Own market research specific agency relationships.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards to visualize key data points, making information accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine KPIs that align with business objectives.
• Lead forecasting activities, utilising statistical models and data analysis to predict market movements and business outcomes.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Assist in account/customer segmentation to ensure a focused delivery of our strategy
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
• Facilitate training and development sessions on data analytics tools and methodologies for team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector in the UK & IE.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and statistical software.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of the UK & IE pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment.
