The Pathology departments at University Hospitals North Tees and Hartlepool (NTH) and South Tees Hospitals (STH) are working collaboratively to develop a joint service called Tees Valley Pathology (TVP) with services being delivered on all hospital sites.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic individuals with appropriate experience, knowledge and skills to join our scientific team and participate in the delivery of services provided by Immunology based at James Cook University Hospital.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to be flexible in your approach to working hours but will cover mainly weekday shifts. There is also an expectation that some weekend and evening sessions may also be covered occasionally. The role will involve delivery of scientific support duties within Immunology and supporting the Senior team.

Essential criteria

  • 5 GCSE (1 of which is a science subject) & laboratory experience, NVQ level 2 Clinical Laboratory Science or IBMS Cert Part 1, IT qualification
