An ICR Consilium Associate Partner is a proactive and motivated individual, able to support client and team needs with a high level of financial and healthcare industry understanding, and to independently advise clients on day-to-day tasks with limited senior involvement.

They provide strategic insight from the middle of the team, while delivering high quality work in a timely manner, and demonstrating our values of being driven, plugged in, full of life, and caring.


The Associate Partner will be adept at meeting client needs, escalating matters as required, while providing constructive leadership and management of Account Executives and Associates.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and advisor on communications strategy.
  • Develop and execute communication plans including press releases, media outreach, and social media content.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing coaching and guidance on client service and industry best practices.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and deliver pitches to new business prospects.
  • Give strategic advice in range of situations with support of Partners.
  • Operate within budget guidelines and maintain strong awareness of client fees and billing arrangements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market intelligence to inform client strategies and identify new business opportunities.


Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare communications or a related field.
  • A life sciences degree, healthcare industry and City experience are preferred
  • Strong healthcare media relations experience and knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Candidate must have/be able to develop, understanding the importance of developing relationships with key healthcare trade and business media and regularly securing high value placements for clients
  • Strong knowledge of social media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior team members.
