Associate Fire Engineer Job in Leeds, Yorkshire / Hybrid WorkingAssociate Fire Engineer job in Leeds, Yorkshire for an established fire consultancy. As a senior member of the Fire Engineering team, you will be managing a team whilst working through all stages of projects. The role offers a salary of £75,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + 45p mileage + hybrid working + healthcare + continuous CPD / professional development.As a leading fire consultancy, they offer strategic advice, innovative design, construction oversight and risk management services to wide ranging clients in the UK and worldwide. Established nearly 15 years ago, they are an award-winning consultancy working closely with councils, architects, and design teams to embed safety at the heart of architectural ambition. They work across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, transport, healthcare, hospitality and nuclear. This role will report to the Associate Director / Director and you will be the technical lead across design, construction and post construction.Role & Responsibilities- Leading projects from inception to completion- Managing a team of fire engineers- Delivering projects to a high quality and technical standard- Provide technical input via white papers and marketing- Excellent knowledge of up-to-date industry legislation and regulation- Continually remaining up to date with the latest industry developments and changes to legislation- Providing technical advice to the team at all stages of projects- Commercial and data management- Continually question the norm and offer innovative ways to deliver projects for clients- Mentor, manage and train the team- Continuous CPD and identifying areas for CPD, sharing new information and knowledge on internal forums.Required Skills & Experience- BEng Hons in fire engineering or engineering related discipline- MSc in fire engineering- 5+ years' experience in UK fire engineering- CEng status or close to achieving (all routes considered)- Membership of a fire or engineering related professional body such as IFE- Extensive experience in delivering fire-engineered solutions for UK based projects- Strong understanding of UK legislation and design guidance- Proven team leadership experience- Confidence to network and contribute to the bid process and successful winning of work- Commercial acumen and understanding of risk management- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.What you get back - Salary £75,000 - £90,000 (Negotiable)- Mileage paid 45p per mile- Bonus Scheme- Hybrid Working- Pension Scheme- Private Healthcare- Life Cover- Continuous CPD / Professional development- Electric Car Benefit.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
