As our Assistant Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Land & Development Managers in the pre-construction phases of their development projects, including feasibility, legal, design, planning and health and safety related activities.Let's cut to the chase, what's in it for you... Assist others in the assessment of new business opportunities.Research and review planning applications, in conjunction with others to identify site constraints and opportunities.In collaboration with the team undertake feasibility assessments using group software.Financials - Responsibility to support Development Manager in their responsibility to ensure overall financial viability of development is maintained and controlled at all timesUpdate and manage development cash flowsAssist the team to prepare consultant appointments and collateral warranties, and to co-ordinate signatures, scan and circulate documents as required.Assist the team to complete paperwork and reports in order to gain internal approvals and ensure audit compliance.Assist the team to procure suitable supporting information e.g. surveys, reports, assessments etc. required to support the planning process and enable sufficient pre delivery planning/design. This may include placing orders and dealing with invoice enquiries.Assist the team to approve invoices via the company financial systemsWhen required organise and administrate meetings and provide information as requested to do so.Provide support to the team at external meetings and events, e.g. pre application planning meetings and public consultation events. This may require out of hours working.Resolve problems in collaboration with other team membersMaintain project folders in order to ensure accurate record keeping and audit compliance.Management of several small projects, with the support of a Development Manager, to enable development and career progression.Collaborate with colleagues as required to share information and ensure successful delivery of schemes.Promote and represent the company when appropriate in order to maximise development opportunities and the reputation of the company.Any other task deemed necessary to the role.
