This is a permanent role.The role of a Technician is to provide support to the department with materials and equipment. Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of students is maintained at all times.The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and maintenance of art materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that our art rooms are well-organised and conducive to a creative learning environment, as well as assisting in displays and exhibitions and providing technical support and guidance to students and staff.The person appointed will be a team player with a friendly disposition and good communication skills.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.This post is subject to the satisfactory completion of an enhanced DBS check, Barred list check, the receipt of satisfactory references and other statutory checks that are required for the post.
