Join our team as an Area Engineering Manager, leading a dynamic engineering team to deliver innovative solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Development & Delivery: ️ Implement the Engineering Elements of the Project Execution Plan, considering full lifecycle requirements.
• Risk Management: ⚠️ Identify and mitigate design, technical, and safety risks, collaborating across disciplines.
• Hazard Management: Develop and enforce a proportionate hazard management strategy.
• Compliance & Safety: ✅ Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulations, fulfilling Principal Designer Responsibilities under CDM Regulations.
• Requirements Management: Define, manage, and report technical scope, overseeing product development.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in engineering delivery and leadership.
• Engineering Design Experience: ️ Significant experience in engineering design environments.
• Regulated Systems Experience: ️ Recent experience in regulated, quality-assured systems (preferably nuclear).
• Educational Qualifications: Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (HNC minimum, MEng preferred).
• Professional Membership: Membership in an appropriate Engineering or Scientific Institution (Incorporated Engineer minimum, Chartered Engineer preferred).

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

• Industry Regulations Knowledge: Familiarity with nuclear industry regulations (or equivalent).
• Technological Readiness: Experience in Technological Readiness Levels and technology development plans.
• Requirements Management: ️ Knowledge of Requirements Management/System Engineering.
• Certifications: INCOSE ASEP / CSEP certification.

Applicants must meet UK residency criteria for security clearance.
