Apply NowTuckers Solicitors are seeking a Work From Office Administration Manager to join us at our office in Manchester city centre.
The role has overall responsibility for the administrative function of the firm, manging the team that is responsible for enquiry handling, police station attendance, and court diary management.
Our entire case management system is delivered by an in-house bespoke platform. Consequently, the successful applicant will have a high degree of IT literacy.
The successful candidate will support the Managing Partner and regional partners to contribute to the realisation of the firm's objectives and to be a strategic voice at management level.
The role is particularly suitable for those with a background in operations, helpdesk and call centre management.

Key responsibilities
- Reception
Manage a team of 25 call handlers
Monitor communication from our in-house case management system.
Monitor email inboxes.
- Police admin
Manage the police admin team.
Oversee the flow of calls and enquiry tickets and looking for opportunities to improve it.
Set up reporting to share performance with key stakeholders, including using statistics to identify top issues with the processes and implement improvements.
Introduce ‘balanced scorecard’ key performance metrics to ensure that the correct behaviours are driven and rewarded.
Ensure changes to police station contacts, attendance codes, offence codes etc are fed to IT Team to update our database.
Highlight gaps in the duty slot rotas and getting agreement from the appropriate partner on how they want to fill any gaps
Step in to undertake call handler duties when required, eg peak times or sickness (which is what I think the elements below are)
Manage communication between the DSCC, police stations, solicitors and agents.
- Diary management
Oversee the diary management team who prioritise police station, magistrates and crown court diaries.
The role also includes handling GDPR compliance and confidential communications.
Essential key skills
Several years’ relevant experience in a similar type role.
Demonstrable ability to analyse data about the operation, problem solve and improve processes.
Able to have conversations with team members and partners in which they highlight areas for improvement and challenge them to address problems.
Proficient in the application of GDPR legislation.
Being collaborative, flexible and efficient with close attention to detail.
