We'd like you to join us as a Administrative Assistant at our service Murdostoun in Wishaw.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and experienced specialist brain injury and neurological care service.

We provide individualised assessment and intensive rehabilitation to help people recover from a brain injury. At all times we work to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of independence and quality of life.

Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre provides specialist care for up to 46 residents at any one time.

We have a minibus for appointments and some fun outings and a state-of-the-art therapy pool, which allows our residents to focus on re-gaining cognitive abilities that may have been lost. A specially designed therapy kitchen allows users to learn new skills that will serve them long after they have left our care. We also have a gymnasium where all residents are encouraged to keep themselves active and socialise with others.

We are extremely proud to be accredited as an approved provider of specialist Brain Injury Care by the Headway Brain Injury Association.

What you'll be working:

Part Time

29 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate and carry out the office administrative functions in a professional and confidential manner
  • Be familiar with, and assist in managing the electronic client files
  • Assist in managing outgoing and incoming post
  • Provide backup and support the general office requirements, including data entry, photocopying, scanning and printing documents as needed
  • Assist with the secure destruction of documents in line with our archiving policy, both paper and electronic
  • Create copies of the client files, sometimes under a Court Order instruction
  • Be responsible for ensuring that office supplies are kept fully stocked
  • Other duties as required or assigned
  • What you'll have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role

  • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills

  • Ability to prioritize a busy workload

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on your own initiative

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work well in a team.

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
