    Page Personnel are currently working with a well established business who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Wakefield on a permanent basis. The company is a well known business in the Retail industry, who place high importance on providing top quality services to their customers.

    Job Description

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports
  • Manage financial transactions and document procedures
  • Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in budgeting processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure compliance with organisational financial policies and regulations

  • Have gained relevant experience in a similar accounts assistant role
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and present detailed reports
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, or equivalent role
