TeamJobs is seeking an Accounts Assistant to work part-time, directly reporting to the Financial Director.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records for all departments
- Identify and process receipts and payments, including online transactions
- Perform reconciliations using Tikit
- Accurately record all financial transactions
- Assist with purchase ledger, expense ledger, online posting of sales invoices, payroll, and month-end accounts
- Proactively communicate with fee earners regarding payment and receipt statuses
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a solicitor's firm is highly desirable
- Experience managing high-volume transactions
- AAT and/or CIMA qualifications are advantageous
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tikit
- Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations is beneficial
Working Hours:
- Preferred working hours are Wednesday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- Flexibility is offered, including consideration for a hybrid working pattern post-probation
