Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to have partnered with a growing commercial client based in Chelmsford in recruiting an Accounts Assistant.
This is a fully office based role which reports into the Finance Manager handling the day to day transactional finances.
ResponsibilitiesManage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendorsProcess bank depositsReconcile financial statementsPrepare, send and store invoicesContact clients and send reminders to ensure timely paymentsSubmit tax formsIdentify and address discrepanciesReport on the status of accounts payable and receivableUpdate internal accounting databases and spreadsheets Skills/Experience Some experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar roleGood knowledge of Finance procedures and debt collection regulationsHands-on experience with computer softwareAdvanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errorsGood organizational and time-management abilitiesBSc degree or relevant qualification
