Job Introduction
The BBC Finance team in Cardiff delivers an integrated, sustainable and high quality accounting and reporting service to our business and Finance customers across the whole of the BBC.
We are seeking an Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team with a focus on month end and budget analysis and reporting. This is a twelve month fixed term contract opportunity based in Cardiff with some flexibility, ie hybrid working.
Main Responsibilities
As an Accountant in the Financial Reporting team you will:
Are you the right candidate?
You will have strong analytical skills and be fully qualified with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA). Financial Reporting and/or management accounting knowledge and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, both within Finance and with the other divisions is especially important in this role. You will be required to operate independently but effective team playing is also important due to the nature and size of the Finance team.
