Equans is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Salford Quays - Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The role holder will coordinate all resources and stakeholders to deliver a high level of service to clients with maximum efficiency and in a safe, sustainable, and collaborative manner.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage the client service delivery at Media City & Quayside, ensuring all available resources work in a collaborative manner.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of the contract working with the Account Director and Financial Business Partner to achieve our financial targets set for the contract.
  • Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with all client stakeholders across Media City and Quayside.
  • Ensure compliance across all 11 contractual KPIs.
  • Manage Resident Engineers and Subcontractors in line with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor and develop direct reports through training and regular reviews.
  • Deliver training and corporate briefings
  • Working with the Technical Manager ensure that all risks relating to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients.
  • Review the monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the Account Director as necessary.
  • Work in a strategic manner with the Critical Infrastructure Manager to ensure all critical areas are effectively maintained and compliant.
  • Work with the on-site teams in planning, implementing, and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and reactive works
  • Work with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the companys asset management system Planon Universe
  • Establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services.
  • Drive successful contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups

  • Who are we looking for?

  • Technical background essential
  • Able to manage a large diverse team
  • Able to think clearly in extreme circumstances and troubleshoot issues and address raised concerns
  • Proven experience of building strong relationships with clients
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • Experience of using a CAFM system desirable
  • Good experience and track record in working in a Critical M&E Environment
  • Good knowledge of building services and legislation
  • Professional qualifications and background
