Youth worker support in Primary schools Monarch Education is working in partnership with several primary schools across Manchester to recruit an experienced, motivated and resilient Youth Worker, to support students in the classroom and offer extra emotional and social support.

The role is for students in Keys Stages 1 and 2, with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying SEMH.

Located not far from Manchester City Centre, the schools are easily accessed by public transport and on-site parking is available.

The positions are open to all experienced individuals who have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults.

Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Greater Manchester Position - Youth Worker Type of work - Classroom support and Intervention groups Duration / Likely Duration - Full academic Year Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2024 Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary to Permanent Full time/part time available Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day (this can be negotiated with the school) Hours - 8:30 am - 3.

30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH MONARCH EDUCATION, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional related references that cover at least the last two yearsMONARCH EDUCATION CAN OFFER THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management, phonics and Team Teach.

In-house Training and Development Team Work with you own designated consultant who is a qualified teacher with 14 years' experience within an Education setting.
