Position: Year 6 TeacherStart Date: ImmediateHours: 08:30 - 16:00Contract: Full-timeSalary: £180-£220 per daySchool Type: PrimaryWe are looking for an excellent Primary school Year 6 teacher to join one of our most reputable schools in South East London. As a year 6 teacher you will be delivering lessons at the highest excellent whilst providing the best experience for your pupils. Ideal Candidate:Design and deliver personalised lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our Year 6 students with special needs.Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism, speech and language difficulties, and other complex needs.Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.Demonstrate safeguarding practices to ensure that highest level of pupil welfare is maintainedRegularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.Champion inclusion and promote a positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued. Requirements:PGCE and QTS/QTLS: Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).Demonstrate proven experience working with students who have severe SEN needs, particularly those with autism and complex needs.Be adaptable and flexible, tailoring teaching methods to suit the individual learning styles of students within the class.Exhibit a strong commitment to the holistic development of students, fostering an environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
