Learning Support Assistant

 

The role:

The Head Teacher and SENCO of an oversubscribed Primary school located close-by to the Lea and Ashton area in Preston are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their Ks1 team.

The successful applicant will be required to work 1:1 alongside a child n Y2.

 

Pay rates and working hours:

The pay for this role will be determined by experience and level of teaching during your time in school.

It is expected to fall within the bracket of £85-£95 per day, based on a 6.

5 hour working day.

Payments are made on a weekly basis, directly into your bank account.

This role will begin initially on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to transfer onto a school contract following a successful probation period.

 

How to apply:

To apply for this role, you must hold a Level 2; or equivalent childcare or Health and social care related qualification.

You must have experience support children or vulnerable adults and have an open mind and positive attitude to be successful in this role.

The school will also be looking for a practitioner who is happy to mix with the current staffing team and become a long-standing member of the team.  

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children or vulnerable adults with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

This role is to work within the schools Year 2 class; KS1 experience is advantageous however not essential.
