The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Due to growth within our workshop team, we are now looking for a Workshop Support Technician to join our team to support the team in preparing our forklifts trucks to a retail ready standard for our customers.

In this role you will be:

• Working with the Workshop Engineers on general workshop repairs and maintenance.
• Preparing, sanding, and painting machines ready to go to customer sites.
• Working closely with workshop supervisor to achieve maximum productivity and meet monthly targets.
• Providing outstanding customer satisfaction with finished product.
• Completing work at high standard.
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with all departments
• Ensuring agreed tasks are completed in the set time, and work areas are tidy.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Experience in a body shop environment would be beneficial. (However not essential)
• Background in prepping and body repairs
• A base knowledge of mechanical engineering
• Good communication
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
