Our firm is looking for two Wills & Probate Solicitors with at least 1-year post-qualification experience to join a high street firm that specialises in Private Clients and Conveyancing.

You will be supported by the Directors to excel in this position, working closely with the Head of Department.

The firm currently has a busy Private Client department dealing with the following matters:

  • Preparation of Wills
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Administration of deceased’ estates
  • Court of Protection applications for appointment of a Deputy
  • Deeds of gift of unmortgaged properties, assents, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney deeds
  • Limited Trust work

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • You will be confident in handling a caseload of 75 active files
  • Must have excellent customer care to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • We have many repeat clients and a massive database of clients
  • You will show initiative, be able to work independently and be open to business development if you wish to progress within the firm
  • Hold a high level of awareness of compliance with regulatory obligations and risk assessment
  • You will be proficient with Microsoft 365

The salary range depends on the level of experience.

Working from home for one day would be welcomed after you are familiar with the team and office.

Holiday entitlement is 20 working days plus 8 statutory bank holidays. The firm closes the office between Christmas and New Year.
