Ward Manager (Mental Health Nurse) in Preston

Ward Manager Opportunity – Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for mental health care and leadership?

I am currently working with an exceptional mental health rehabilitation hospital that is looking to add a compassionate and driven Ward Manager to their team.

This full-time position offers Monday to Friday hours (9am-5pm) with a salary of up to £45,000 per year and a £2,000 welcome bonus!

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and providing leadership in a supportive, high-quality care environment.

The role focuses on supporting adults aged 18-65 in their mental health recovery journey, helping them live as independently as possible.

You’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals and external partners to provide the best care possible.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, support, and manage a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Collaborate with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, including primary care, acute and community health services, and the voluntary sector.

Drive positive outcomes for service users while maintaining a supportive and engaging environment for your team.

Candidate Requirements: Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.

Previous experience in mental health nursing is strongly preferred.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing healthcare teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain composed under pressure and approach challenges with empathy.

Experience in inpatient mental health settings is desirable.
