The Transport Contract Manager plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing contracts in the logistics department and it involves ensuring all contracts are executed effectively and profitably.DescriptionThe successful Transport Contract Manager will have the following duties and responsibilitiesManaging and overseeing one of the major company contractsEnsuring contract terms are fulfilled in a timely mannerHandling contract negotiations and agreementsCollaborating closely with the logistics department for contract executionIdentifying opportunities for new contracts and partnershipsEnsuring contracts are profitable and align with company goalsImplementing strategies to improve contract management processesMaintaining a comprehensive record of all contracts and related documentsensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance costs are monitorely effectively ProfileA successful Transport Contract Manager should have:Proven experience in transport contract management or a related role within logistics, distribution or 3PL operationExcellent negotiation and communication skillsStrong understanding of contracts and legal terminologyProficiency in using and utilising any WMS and TMSStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and organisational skillsTransport Manager CPC is advantageous but not a mustJob OfferThe successful candidate will receive the below benefitsA competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)An excellent pension schemeGenerous holiday entitlementA supportive company culture that values employee developmentAn opportunity to work in a thriving logistics and distribution industry in Oxfordshire
