Working with one of the UK's fastest-growing, leading producers of household and healthcare pharmaceutical products and a Top Employer in 2023 and 2024, we are looking for an experienced Training Manager. As the Training Manager (Operational) you will have extensive knowledge and experience in the technicalities of clean room GMP processes within an FMCG environment.As a Training Manager, you can expect to earn between £56,000 and £65,000 per year depending on experience. Working 38 hours per week primarily on day shift but flexibility is a must. The role includes a generous bonus, car allowance and pension contribution of 8%, plus excellent company benefits and an exceptional working environment.The Training Manager RoleThe role will provide a service of functional training, across the multi-disciplinary areas of Engineering, QC Microbiology, Chemistry and Process Units. In this role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with business objectives. Your primary focus will be identifying training needs, designing relevant programs, and assessing their impact on employee performance and loyalty.Managing a team of two trainers, you will collaborate with various departments within Technical Operations to ensure employees receive the necessary training on GMP and technical operations, to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the company. Your responsibilities will include enhancing employee technical competency, improving performance, increasing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement & development throughout the organization.By overseeing our training initiatives, you will play a vital role in driving employee growth and ensuring the achievement of our business goals. Working on a GMP pharmaceutical site, the Training Manager, will drive the GMP and Quality mindset working hand in hand with the quality and operational teamsTraining Manager Key Responsibilities:Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, grading structures, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations across the different departments within Technical Operations.Deploy a wide variety of training methods, to ensure we cover peoples learning styles and needsConduct effective induction and orientation sessions, embedding HSE and GMPMonitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and report on themManage training budgetProvide opportunities for ongoing developmentResolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessaryMaintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practicesIdentifying and assessing future and current training needsDrawing an overall or individualised training and development planDeploying a wide variety of training methodsAs a Training Manager you:Will be Degree Qualified or Equivalent in a relevant field of studyHave proven work experience as a Training Manager in an FMCG environmentHave excellent technical experience and knowledge of clean room GMPHave a track record in designing and training programs which have had a direct impact on operational performanceBe able to manage StakeholdersHave familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)Be able to plan, multi-task and manage time effectivelyAs a Training Manager you can also expect:25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and the opportunity to buy an additional 5 days leave.Generous Company Pension Scheme with an 8% contributionLife AssuranceAnnual bonus scheme of 10%Employee Assistance ProgrammeCar Allowance of £6,000 per yearVitality Private Health coverSuccessful candidates for this position typically have backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development, or education.
