Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial this is a critical role.

You will be a trusted advisor both to internal and external stakeholders with a relentless eye to detail providing but not limited to commercial solutions (creative commercial solutions), financial, analytical business insight.

Working with sales you need to have superior relationship skills managing the healthy tension between winning in the market and ensuring sound decision making and profitable growth. 

We are looking for an inquisitive and highly commercially focussed Trading Performance Manager with a can-do attitude who can demonstrate our company’s core values and behaviours while driving business performance, customer and quality excellence and the engagement of our colleagues.

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to provide commercial insight and analytical support for new business investment opportunities through the Acquisition team.
  • Drive robust challenge to the Management Team on current business performance versus external supplier KPIs.
  • Support and enable the sales team to drive commercial discussions on deals. 
  • Provide insight into emerging revenue, margin and market trends and quantify impact on the divisional contribution.
  • Annual budgeting and more regular forecasting in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand and develop operational KPIs; using this information to challenge the business and continuously improve.

  • Advanced Excel skills – experience of building and maintaining detailed reports is advantageous.
