Role OverVIOOH

The Technical Operations team at VIOOH is responsible for the day to day 24x7 operational application management and second-line support of all client and partner facing services, which are developed in-house by our engineering team.


Supported by the Service Desk (acting as first-line support) and the SRE team (who maintain the virtualized infrastructure), you will be responsible for all in-life application maintenance and support, from release through to decommissioning. This will include deploying new code and hotfixes, monitoring and reporting, continuous improvement of process and procedure, and service continuity, reliability, performance, resilience, and security.

What you'll be working on

  • Identifying and resolving issues in line with SLA’s
  • Possessing specialist knowledge of SQL databases and cloud-hosted software
  • Providing technical support, analysing and debugging issues
  • Assisting with systems integrations
  • Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules
  • Maintaining and updating technical documents, procedures & runbooks
  • Work with other internal teams (Account Managers, Product, Development)
  • Delivering regular and customised training to teams within the business
  • Keeping stakeholders informed of status and progress through the Service Desk and/or other appropriate channels
  • Developing reports and dashboards for teams across the business
  • Monitor applications/services and react accordingly

What we want from you

  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases (MySQL preferred), basic networking, and HTTP/HTTPS, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Ability to learn employer-specific software to a high level of proficiency
  • Working knowledge of AWS Analytics
  • Understanding of and knowledge of RPA’s
  • Industry experience of logging especially using DataDog and/or Kibana
  • Experience working with languages such as Java, Clojure, Python is desirable
  • Industry experience in Programmatic and Adtech is desirable
  • ITILv4 Foundation certification desirable
